Newgen Software Tech Q1 net profit up 14.86% at Rs 48.69 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 48.69 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 42.39 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 14.86 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined by 0.78 per cent at Rs 280.57 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 282.77 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 1.23 per cent to Rs 244.53 crore from Rs 241.57 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 60.79 per cent at Rs 34.81 crore versus (Jun'24 Rs 21.65 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 12.50 per cent to Rs 36.04 crore as against Rs 41.19 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 11.81 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 24.47 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.17 crore, while Taxation increased by 1.38 per cent at Rs 12.53 crore (Jun'24 Rs 12.36 crore).
