Hindustan Media Vent Q2 net profit down 14.62% at Rs 11.68 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 11.68 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 13.68 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 14.62 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 14.47 per cent at Rs 196.87 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 171.99 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 10.77 per cent to Rs 206.54 crore from Rs 186.46 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 26.38 per cent at Rs 26.62 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 36.16 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 33.17 per cent to Rs -9.67 crore as against Rs -14.47 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 41.62 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 11.48 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.33 crore, while Taxation increased by 27.37 per cent at Rs 1.21 crore (Sep'24 Rs 0.95 crore).
