Hindustan Unilever L Q1 net profit up 2.67% at Rs 2538.00 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 2,538.00 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 2472.00 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 2.67 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 1.57 per cent at Rs 15,166.00 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 14,931.00 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 0.91 per cent to Rs 11,733.00 crore from Rs 11,627.00 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 38.92 per cent at Rs 257.00 crore versus (Jun'23 Rs 185.00 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 2.41 per cent to Rs 3,606.00 crore as against Rs 3,521.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 0.85 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 80.85 per cent y-o-y to Rs 85.00 crore, while Taxation increased by 0.11 per cent at Rs 894.00 crore (Jun'23 Rs 893.00 crore).
