Nestle India Q1 net profit up 6.91% at Rs 746.60 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 746.60 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 698.34 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 6.91 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 4.21 per cent at Rs 4,813.95 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 4,619.50 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 2.68 per cent to Rs 3,699.62 crore from Rs 3,603.01 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 63.34 per cent at Rs 39.12 crore versus (Jun'23 Rs 23.95 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 5.57 per cent to Rs 1,114.33 crore as against Rs 1,055.52 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 1.31 per cent in June quarter.

Interest declined by 3.36 per cent y-o-y to Rs 31.68 crore, while Taxation increased by 8.91 per cent at Rs 262.46 crore (Jun'23 Rs 240.99 crore).
