Sanstar L Q1 net profit up 17.01% at Rs 16.51 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 16.51 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 14.11 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 17.01 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined marginally by 4.43 per cent at Rs 290.88 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 304.36 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 6.36 per cent to Rs 263.46 crore from Rs 281.35 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 81.13 per cent at Rs 0.96 crore versus (Jun'23 Rs 0.53 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 19.11 per cent to Rs 27.42 crore as against Rs 23.02 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 24.74 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 36.67 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.69 crore, while Taxation increased by 16.74 per cent at Rs 5.02 crore (Jun'23 Rs 4.30 crore).
