Patanjali Foods Q2 net profit up 21.38% at Rs 308.97 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 308.97 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 254.54 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 21.38 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 4.25 per cent at Rs 8,154.19 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 7,821.89 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 3.74 per cent to Rs 7,704.67 crore from Rs 7,426.59 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 85.52 per cent at Rs 44.34 crore versus (Sep'23 Rs 23.90 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 13.72 per cent to Rs 449.52 crore as against Rs 395.30 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 9.11 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 16.19 per cent y-o-y to Rs 20.13 crore, while Taxation increased by 34.48 per cent at Rs 108.31 crore (Sep'23 Rs 80.54 crore).
