Jubilant Pharmova posts Q2 net profit of Rs 10.50 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 10.50 crore compared to net loss of Rs 0.40 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 11.06 per cent at Rs 165.70 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 186.30 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 7.39 per cent to Rs 171.80 crore from Rs 185.50 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 138.04 per cent at Rs 43.80 crore versus (Sep'23 Rs 18.40 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 862.50 per cent to Rs -6.10 crore as against Rs 0.80 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 955.81 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 9.86 per cent y-o-y to Rs 7.80 crore, while Taxation increased by 916.67 per cent at Rs 6.10 crore (Sep'23 Rs 0.60 crore).
