Titagarh Rail System Q2 net profit up 20.07% at Rs 85.12 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 85.12 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 70.89 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 20.07 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 12.99 per cent at Rs 1,056.95 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 935.45 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 13.06 per cent to Rs 927.54 crore from Rs 820.37 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 58.35 per cent at Rs 10.72 crore versus (Sep'23 Rs 6.77 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 12.44 per cent to Rs 129.41 crore as against Rs 115.09 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 0.49 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 13.86 per cent y-o-y to Rs 17.47 crore, while Taxation increased by 24.59 per cent at Rs 29.89 crore (Sep'23 Rs 23.99 crore).
