AIA Engineering Q2 net profit down 15.48% at Rs 217.21 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 217.21 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 256.98 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 15.48 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 24.72 per cent at Rs 813.98 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,081.33 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 24.42 per cent to Rs 584.66 crore from Rs 773.53 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 31.62 per cent at Rs 88.66 crore versus (Sep'23 Rs 67.36 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 25.50 per cent to Rs 229.32 crore as against Rs 307.80 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 1.02 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 28.14 per cent y-o-y to Rs 5.26 crore, while Taxation decreased by 16.78 per cent at Rs 72.51 crore (Sep'23 Rs 87.13 crore).
