Anmol India Q2 net profit down 69.85% at Rs 1.01 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1.01 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 3.35 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 69.85 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 13.26 per cent at Rs 185.78 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 214.19 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 11.45 per cent to Rs 183.14 crore from Rs 206.83 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 2.78 per cent at Rs 2.59 crore versus (Sep'23 Rs 2.52 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 64.13 per cent to Rs 2.64 crore as against Rs 7.36 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 58.72 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 28.81 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.78 crore, while Taxation decreased by 69.91 per cent at Rs 0.34 crore (Sep'23 Rs 1.13 crore).
