Aakash Exploration Q2 net profit down 91.27% at Rs 0.11 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 0.11 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 1.26 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 91.27 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 8.52 per cent at Rs 23.05 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 21.24 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 21.35 per cent to Rs 21.03 crore from Rs 17.33 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 270.00 per cent at Rs 0.37 crore versus (Sep'23 Rs 0.10 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 48.34 per cent to Rs 2.02 crore as against Rs 3.91 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 52.42 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 0.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.48 crore, while Taxation decreased by 83.72 per cent at Rs 0.07 crore (Sep'23 Rs 0.43 crore).
