BGR Energy Systems posts Q2 net loss of Rs 191.90 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 191.90 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 106.39 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 64.91 per cent at Rs 82.54 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 235.24 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 42.78 per cent to Rs 150.20 crore from Rs 262.51 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 534.62 per cent at Rs 4.95 crore versus (Sep'23 Rs 0.78 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 148.11 per cent to Rs -67.66 crore as against Rs -27.27 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 607.25 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 18.85 per cent y-o-y to Rs 121.75 crore
