Ashapura Min. Lt Q2 net profit down 25.09% at Rs 14.21 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 14.21 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 18.97 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 25.09 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 11.51 per cent at Rs 74.32 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 66.65 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 6.79 per cent to Rs 62.14 crore from Rs 58.19 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 1.24 per cent at Rs 4.78 crore versus (Sep'23 Rs 4.84 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 44.09 per cent to Rs 12.19 crore as against Rs 8.46 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 29.24 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 39.47 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.04 crore, while Taxation increased by 19.01 per cent at Rs -1.44 crore (Sep'23 Rs -1.21 crore).
