Orient Press Ltd posts Q2 net loss of Rs 0.74 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 0.74 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 0.81 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company declined marginally by 3.26 per cent at Rs 36.75 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 37.99 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 4.40 per cent to Rs 35.38 crore from Rs 37.01 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 46.77 per cent at Rs 0.91 crore versus (Sep'23 Rs 0.62 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 39.80 per cent to Rs 1.37 crore as against Rs 0.98 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 45.14 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 35.62 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.98 crore, while Taxation increased by 5.26 per cent at Rs -0.20 crore (Sep'23 Rs -0.19 crore).
