Vaishali Pharma Q2 net profit up 15.88% at Rs 1.97 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1.97 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 1.70 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 15.88 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 65.39 per cent at Rs 20.79 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 12.57 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 85.37 per cent to Rs 18.37 crore from Rs 9.91 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 136.67 per cent at Rs 0.71 crore versus (Sep'23 Rs 0.30 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 9.02 per cent to Rs 2.42 crore as against Rs 2.66 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 44.94 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 19.15 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.38 crore, while Taxation increased by 0.00 per cent at Rs 0.66 crore (Sep'23 Rs 0.66 crore).
