Spandana Sphoorty appoints Arvind Murarka as Chief Information Officer

Spandana Sphoorty Financial has announced the appointment of Mr. Arvind Murarka as its Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective March 3, 2025. He will be a part of the company’s Senior Management Personnel (SMP).

Murarka holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Sikkim, and has also completed an Advanced Programme in Leadership in the Digital Era from IIM Lucknow. With over 30 years of experience spanning industries such as Information Technology, Consulting, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Food Processing, and Retail, he brings extensive expertise in IT infrastructure and application platforms, including core financial systems.

Prior to joining Spandana Sphoorty, he served at Arohan Financial Services Limited.
