BHEL wins interim award of Rs 115 crore

In a significant legal victory, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) has secured an interim award of Rs 115 crore along with 18% annual interest, effective 30 days from the award date of July 27, 2017, against RattanIndia Power Ltd.

The Hon’ble Delhi High Court, in its judgment dated March 6, 2025, has upheld this award, reinforcing BHEL’s claim under the dispute. The ruling marks a crucial development in the ongoing legal proceedings between the two companies.
