SMPP secures Rs 300 crore orders from Indian Army for Bulletproof Gear

Defence equipment manufacturer SMPP Ltd has secured two orders worth Rs 300 crore from the Indian Army, the company announced in a statement.

Under the emergency procurement provision, SMPP will supply 27,700 bulletproof jackets and 11,700 advanced ballistic helmets to the Army.

“These orders, valued at over Rs 300 crore, mark a significant contribution towards enhancing the protection and combat readiness of our forces,” the company stated.
