India’s automobile retail sales grew nearly 5% year-on-year in June, with all major segments—including passenger vehicles (PVs) and two-wheelers—posting gains, according to data released by the Federation of Automotive Dealers Associations (FADA) on Monday.
Total vehicle registrations reached 20,03,873 units in June 2025, marking a 4.84% increase compared to 19,11,354 units in June 2024.
Passenger vehicle retail sales rose 2% year-on-year to 2,97,722 units, up from 2,90,593 units in the same month last year.
