Ventive Hospitality Limited, in collaboration with its Promoter Group Companies, has announced a major expansion of its strategic partnership with Marriott International. The companies have signed management agreements for seven new luxury, upper-upscale, and upscale hotels across India and Sri Lanka, collectively offering 1,548 rooms. This marks a significant milestone in the Indian hospitality industry and includes several brand debuts in key locations such as Sri Lanka, Varanasi, Mundra, Pune, and Navi Mumbai.
Among the seven hotels, three are being directly developed by Ventive Hospitality and its subsidiaries. These include the Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Pottuvil near Yala East National Park, Sri Lanka (featuring 73 villas and 80 branded residences for sale); the Varanasi Marriott Hotel with 161 rooms; and the Courtyard by Marriott in Mundra, Gujarat, comprising 200 rooms. The company also announced plans to develop an additional hotel on its existing leasehold land in Mundra.
The other four hotels — JW Marriott Navi Mumbai (450 rooms), Moxy Navi Mumbai (200 rooms), Moxy Pune Wakad (264 rooms), and Moxy Pune Kharadi (200 rooms) — are being developed by the Promoter Group companies. These properties will be transferred to Ventive Hospitality under a Right of First Offer (ROFO) or an alternative structure that ensures maximum value creation for all stakeholders.
This expanded alliance is one of the largest in India’s luxury and upper-upscale hospitality sector, combining Ventive Hospitality’s project execution strengths with Marriott International’s globally recognized brand portfolio and operational expertise. The collaboration is poised to leverage India’s evolving demand-supply landscape in the hospitality space.
The partnership was formally announced by Atul Chordia, Chairman and Executive Director of Ventive Hospitality Ltd., and Rajeev Menon, President, Asia Pacific (excluding China), Marriott International. Also present at the event were Ranju Alex, Regional VP for South Asia at Marriott International; Ranjit Batra, CEO of Ventive Hospitality; Milind Wadekar, EVP, Finance & Investor Relations; Kiran Andicot, SVP, Hotel Development, Marriott International; and other senior leaders from Ventive Hospitality, Panchshil Group, and Marriott International.
