Jayaswal Neco Indust posts Q1 net profit of Rs 93.02 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 93.02 crore compared to net loss of Rs 31.68 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 14.73 per cent at Rs 1,649.35 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,437.56 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 4.87 per cent to Rs 1,334.76 crore from Rs 1,272.73 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 3.85 per cent at Rs 4.85 crore versus (Jun'24 Rs 4.67 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 90.86 per cent to Rs 314.59 crore as against Rs 164.83 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 66.26 per cent in June quarter.

Interest declined by 16.81 per cent y-o-y to Rs 119.38 crore, while Taxation increased by 450.70 per cent at Rs 32.37 crore (Jun'24 Rs -9.23 crore).
