Mahindra EPC Irrigat posts Q1 net profit of Rs 0.98 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 0.98 crore compared to net loss of Rs 2.63 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 36.92 per cent at Rs 62.04 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 45.31 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 24.37 per cent to Rs 59.30 crore from Rs 47.68 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 30.00 per cent at Rs 0.13 crore versus (Jun'24 Rs 0.10 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 215.61 per cent to Rs 2.74 crore as against Rs -2.37 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 184.51 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 61.70 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.76 crore, while Taxation increased by 136.26 per cent at Rs 0.33 crore (Jun'24 Rs -0.91 crore).
