Suzlon Group, India’s leading provider of wind energy solutions, has secured a 381 MW order from Zelestra India and its affiliates—marking a significant milestone in Zelestra’s clean energy journey with its first-ever Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project. This collaboration reflects a broader industry trend where companies embarking on renewable energy initiatives are increasingly turning to Suzlon as a trusted partner.
With comprehensive end-to-end capabilities—from advanced turbine technology to 25 years of lifecycle support—Suzlon continues to empower corporate and utility clients to achieve their decarbonization goals with scale, reliability, and speed.
The project includes the installation of 127 Suzlon S144 turbines across three states: Maharashtra (180 MW), Madhya Pradesh (180 MW), and Tamil Nadu (21 MW). While the Maharashtra and MP segments are part of SJVN’s FDRE bid, the Tamil Nadu portion is targeted at Commercial and Industrial (C&I) power consumers.
Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman of Suzlon Group, commented,
"India’s energy transition is reaching a critical inflection point, with firm and dispatchable renewable power becoming increasingly vital. This project exemplifies that shift.
