At 12:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at was trading at 79772.8 up by 177.21 points or by 0.22 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24208.45 up by 41.2 points or by 0.17 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 80254.55 and intraday low of 79506.9 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24359.3 and intraday low of 24119.95



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1595.80,+7.82%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 655.50,+3.89%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1428.00,+3.81%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1475.85,+3.76%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 2897.90,+2.87%), among others.
