Markets flat on weak global peers amid Middle East tensions

Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were trading flat amid heavy volatility on Thursday in-line with weak trends from global markets as the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict continue to weigh on investors' sentiment.



At 10:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81499.34 up by 54.68 points or by 0.07 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24829.5 up by 17.45 points or by 0.07 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 81583.94 and intraday low of 81191.04 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24863.1 and intraday low of 24738.1



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 251.95,+1.41%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 3508.00,+1.01%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2152.55,+0.90%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3063.10,+0.75%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 1995.00,+0.73%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1667.55,-2.52%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1346.50,-1.88%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 841.35,-1.09%), State Bank of India (Rs. 783.25,-1.07%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1617.20,-0.96%), among others.



Auto index was at 52484.35 up by 210.37 points or by 0.4%. Eicher Motors Ltd. (Rs. 5465.00,+1.35%), Bosch Ltd. (Rs. 32700.00,+0.98%), TVS Motor Company Ltd. (Rs. 2797.45,+0.79%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3063.10,+0.75%), Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (Rs. 2457.00,+0.59%),.
