Mid-Session: Sensex down 75 points; NSE Nifty at 24795.05

Indian benchmark indices were trading lower during the noon trading session weighed down by selling in index heavyweights Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. Bajaj Finance Ltd. IndusInd Bank Ltd Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd Tata Steel Ltd. among others.



At 12:50 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81369.19 down by -75.47 points or by -0.09 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24795.05 down by -17 points or by -0.07 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 81583.94 and intraday low of 81191.04 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24863.1 and intraday low of 24738.1



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 3509.40,+1.05%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3067.60,+0.90%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1438.95,+0.64%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2145.00,+0.55%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 12809.60,+0.53%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1334.20,-2.78%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 904.45,-1.56%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 838.15,-1.46%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1687.10,-1.38%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 150.70,-0.89%), among others.
