Markets flat amid volatile trends; Auto, TECk stocks weigh

Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were trading flat on Friday as investors stayed on the sidelines ahead of India's upcoming trade deal with the US.



At 10:38 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 83260.49 up by 21.02 points or by 0.03 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25410.85 up by 5.55 points or by 0.02 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 83441.95 and intraday low of 83102.55 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25458.65 and intraday low of 25370.55



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 929.80,+2.10%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 1999.30,+0.96%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 262.35,+0.63%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2323.60,+0.49%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1437.00,+0.42%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1653.55,-1.16%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 12654.00,-0.77%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 164.60,-0.75%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 2375.00,-0.57%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 3661.65,-0.48%), among others.



Realty index was at 7552.1 up by 76.72 points or by 1.03%. Phoenix Mills Ltd. (Rs. 1549.00,+2.39%), Godrej Industries Ltd. (Rs. 2310.55,+1.91%), Signatureglobal (India) Ltd. (Rs. 1255.70,+1.49%), DLF Ltd. (Rs. 838.15,+1.04%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd. (Rs. 1613.25,+0.82%),.

The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 3911 , shares advanced were 2369 while 1341 shares declined and 201 were unchanged.
