Sensex dips 380 points; Bajaj Finance, Infosys top losers

Indian stock markets opened lower on Friday amid weakness in Bajaj twins Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv.



At 9:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81803.5 down by -380.67 points or by -0.46 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24950 down by -112.1 points or by -0.45 %.



Sensex touched intraday high of 82069.51 and intraday low of 81721.69 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25010.35 and intraday low of 24907.45



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1488.50,+0.39%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 910.75,-5.03%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 1936.30,-4.71%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1534.80,-1.21%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 296.20,-1.02%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 694.00,-0.94%), among others.



Realty index was at 7458.48 up by 10.9 points or by 0.15%. Anant Raj Ltd. (Rs. 595.60,+5.90%), Phoenix Mills Ltd. (Rs. 1528.85,+5.56%), Signatureglobal (India) Ltd. (Rs. 1206.05,+1.05%), DLF Ltd. (Rs. 830.80,+0.22%),.



CGS index was at 69702.44 down by -725.85 points or by -1.03%. Elgi Equipments Ltd. (Rs. 574.20,-3.17%), Bharat Dynamics Ltd. (Rs. 1644.85,-3.12%), Timken India Ltd. (Rs. 3433.85,-2.37%), Grindwell Norton Ltd. (Rs. 1728.40,-1.91%), Hitachi Energy India Ltd. (Rs. 19445.00,-1.73%),.



The Market breadth, indicating the overall strength of the market, was weak. On BSE out of total shares traded 3294 , shares advanced were 1202 while 1947 shares declined and 145 were unchanged.
