Mid-Session: Sensex down 637 points; NSE Nifty at 24824.55

Indian benchmark indices continued to trade lower during the noon trading session weighed down by selling in index heavyweights including Bajaj Finance Ltd.Bajaj Finserv Ltd.IndusInd Bank Ltd.Infosys Ltd.Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd



At 12:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81546.35 down by -637.82 points or by -0.78 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24824.55 down by -237.55 points or by -0.95 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 82069.51 and intraday low of 81440.56 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25010.35 and intraday low of 24811.65



The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1700.05,+0.47%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1943.70,+0.37%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 12308.00,+0.08%), among others.



The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 920.00,-4.07%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 1962.00,-3.45%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 823.10,-2.85%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1519.30,-2.20%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 293.70,-1.85%), among others.
