Shares of Dewan Housing Finance rose in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after JP Morgan bought 900,000 shares of the company from the open market. JP Morgan Sec A/C Copthall Mauritius Invest Ltd acquired 9,00,000 shares of housing finance company at Rs 394, the NSE bulk deal data shows.
The shares of company rose as much as 0.45 per cent to trade at Rs 414.40 a piece on the BSE.
In a similar fashion, shares of the company rose 0.56 per cent to Rs 415.05 a piece on National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 28,223.27, up 45.39 points or 0.16 per cent at 11.05 hours.
