Prudential Sugar Q1 net profit zooms 658.82% at Rs 1.29 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 1.29 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 0.17 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 658.82 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 84.69 per cent at Rs 5.21 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 34.04 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 83.46 per cent to Rs 5.64 crore from Rs 34.10 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 252.22 per cent at Rs 3.17 crore versus (Jun'24 Rs 0.90 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 616.67 per cent to Rs -0.43 crore as against Rs -0.06 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 4711.76 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 68.85 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.03 crore, while Taxation increased by 616.67 per cent at Rs 0.43 crore (Jun'24 Rs 0.06 crore).
