Elgi Rubber Co. Q1 net profit down 18.93% at Rs 6.04 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 6.04 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 7.45 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 18.93 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose by 0.21 per cent at Rs 53.74 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 53.63 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 4.08 per cent to Rs 47.30 crore from Rs 49.31 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 8.07 per cent at Rs 9.00 crore versus (Jun'24 Rs 9.79 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 48.73 per cent to Rs 6.44 crore as against Rs 4.33 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 48.45 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 6.33 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.20 crore, while Taxation increased by 1500.00 per cent at Rs 1.60 crore (Jun'24 Rs 0.10 crore).
