Borana Weaves Q1 net profit up 21.27% at Rs 12.20 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 12.20 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 10.06 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 21.27 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 30.18 per cent at Rs 81.00 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 62.22 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 38.93 per cent to Rs 63.84 crore from Rs 45.95 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 91.53 per cent at Rs 1.13 crore versus (Jun'24 Rs 0.59 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 5.41 per cent to Rs 17.15 crore as against Rs 16.27 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 19.01 per cent in June quarter.

Interest declined by 29.58 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.00 crore, while Taxation increased by 7.98 per cent at Rs 2.30 crore (Jun'24 Rs 2.13 crore).
