ITI Limited, the country’s first PSU established post-independence and a premier telecom manufacturing company, has been empaneled by Guj Info Petro Limited (GIPL) as a System Integrator for two major IT implementation projects in Gujarat. The empanelment, valid for 36 months from the receipt of the Letter of Intent (LOI), carries a project value of approximately ?110 crore.

Under the agreement, ITI Limited will spearhead two transformative initiatives. The first involves implementing advanced IT infrastructure solutions across various projects on behalf of GIPL. The second focuses on setting up, monitoring, and managing a state-of-the-art Cyber Security Operation Centre (SOC) at GIPL’s Data Center in Infocity, Gandhinagar. The SOC is designed to provide comprehensive cyber risk monitoring, management, and response, thereby enhancing the security of Gujarat’s critical digital infrastructure.

These projects place ITI Limited at the forefront of Gujarat’s digital transformation, enabling government and enterprise clients to benefit from robust and modern IT systems. By strengthening cyber security capabilities, the initiative also aims to fortify the state’s governance and business ecosystem with secure and connected digital services.

Currently, ITI Limited is executing projects worth over ?1,200 crore in Gujarat. This includes the successful implementation of broadband connectivity to 4,271 Gram Panchayats under the GUJNET project, ongoing network operations and maintenance, and IT modernization projects for Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) valued at ?107 crore. These initiatives highlight ITI’s growing role in Gujarat’s evolving IT ecosystem, driving digital modernization and supporting the state’s vision of secure and connected governance.
