AIIA strengthens partnerships for Ayush Insurance and Research Collaboration

The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) has intensified its efforts to integrate traditional medicine into mainstream healthcare by advancing insurance inclusion and strengthening research collaborations in the Ayush sector.

AIIA Director Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Prajapati met with Prof. Bejon Kumar Misra, Chairman of the Core Group of Experts for Insurance, Ministry of Ayush, to discuss expanding insurance coverage and policy frameworks that promote wider access to Ayush healthcare.

The discussions follow the recent inauguration of the Project Management Unit (PMU) for Ayush insurance-related initiatives by Union Minister of State for Ayush (Independent Charge) Shri Prataprao Jadhav. Prof. Prajapati said the PMU will create a transparent, efficient system to implement Ayush insurance schemes and improve public accessibility.

AIIA also explored new research collaborations with Dr. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice Chancellor of Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS), Faridabad, focusing on evidence-based Ayurvedic practices and academic exchange.

Prof. Prajapati emphasized that AIIA remains committed to bridging traditional wisdom and modern science, strengthening research, and promoting policy innovations to advance holistic health and wellness.
