The National Homoeopathy Research Institute in Mental Health (NHRIMH), Kottayam, under the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), Ministry of AYUSH, organized a two-day National Homoeopathy Conference from October 10–11, 2025, themed “Access to Services – Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies.”
The conference brought together experts, researchers, and practitioners from across India to discuss the role of Homoeopathy in psychiatric emergencies, integrative mental health care, and post-disaster psychosocial support.
Dr. Subhash Kaushik, Director General, CCRH, emphasized the need to integrate Homoeopathy into psychosocial care frameworks. Shri Chetan Kumar Meena, IAS, District Collector, Kottayam, served as Guest of Honour, highlighting the importance of accessible mental health services during disasters.
The two-day event featured scientific sessions, case studies, and research presentations covering topics such as disaster mental health, ADHD, PTSD, autism, and substance withdrawal, showcasing evidence-based Homoeopathic interventions.
The conference concluded with a valedictory session, reaffirming the importance of evidence-based, integrative, and community-driven approaches to mental health care, and recognizing Homoeopathy’s role in strengthening mental health resilience during crises.
