Purple Finance posts Q2 net loss of Rs 1.63 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 1.63 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 5.57 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose three fold by 311.11 per cent at Rs 11.10 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 2.70 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 48.26 per cent to Rs 9.80 crore from Rs 6.61 crore in year ago period.

Operating Profit surged by 133.33 per cent to Rs 1.30 crore as against Rs -3.90 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 108.12 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 108.51 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.94 crore, while Taxation increased by 235.29 per cent at Rs -0.57 crore (Sep'24 Rs -0.17 crore).
