Bharat Heavy Ele Q2 net profit zooms 280.34% at Rs 367.67 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 367.67 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 96.67 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 280.34 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 14.09 per cent at Rs 7,511.80 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 6,584.10 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 9.86 per cent to Rs 6,930.87 crore from Rs 6,309.10 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 53.49 per cent at Rs 181.75 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 118.41 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 111.25 per cent to Rs 580.93 crore as against Rs 275.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 84.93 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 3.06 per cent y-o-y to Rs 195.21 crore, while Taxation increased by 252.54 per cent at Rs 124.34 crore (Sep'24 Rs 35.27 crore).
