Bharat Petroleum Q2 net profit zooms 168.75% at Rs 6442.53 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 6,442.53 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 2397.23 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 168.75 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 2.06 per cent at Rs 1,04,912.47 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,02,790.39 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 3.16 per cent to Rs 95,135.22 crore from Rs 98,243.98 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 33.84 per cent at Rs 1,190.69 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 889.62 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 115.05 per cent to Rs 9,777.25 crore as against Rs 4,546.41 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 110.86 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 10.38 per cent y-o-y to Rs 420.78 crore, while Taxation increased by 170.35 per cent at Rs 2,153.02 crore (Sep'24 Rs 796.38 crore).
