Aban Offshore posts Q2 net loss of Rs 9.94 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 9.94 crore compared to net profit of Rs 164.06 crore in the previous year quarter.ÿ

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 21.00 per cent at Rs 31.03 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 39.28 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 214.46 per cent to Rs 26.10 crore from Rs 8.30 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 97.89 per cent at Rs 3.35 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 158.44 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 84.09 per cent to Rs 4.93 crore as against Rs 30.98 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 79.85 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 1.98 per cent y-o-y to Rs 16.50 crore, while Taxation increased by 398.11 per cent at Rs 1.58 crore (Sep'24 Rs -0.53 crore).
