RBI cancels registration of two NBFCs – Jumbo Finvest and Champion Agro Finance

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has cancelled the Certificates of Registration (CoR) of two non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) — Jumbo Finvest (India) Limited and Champion Agro Finance Limited — under the powers conferred by Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.

According to the RBI, the registration of Jumbo Finvest (India) Limited, based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, was cancelled on October 14, 2025, while that of Champion Agro Finance Limited, headquartered in Rajkot, Gujarat, was revoked on October 15, 2025.

Following the cancellation, both companies are prohibited from conducting any business as Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFIs) as defined under Section 45-I(a) of the RBI Act, 1934.
