Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH, addressed the 22nd CII Annual Health Summit 2025 in New Delhi, highlighting Ayurveda’s pivotal role in shaping the future of holistic and integrative healthcare in India.
He urged hospitals and healthcare providers to leverage the vast potential of Ayurveda by integrating Ayurvedic therapies, wellness treatments, detoxification, and yoga with modern medical practices. Such an approach, he noted, would help deliver comprehensive, preventive, and restorative healthcare to patients.
Kotecha emphasized that Ayurveda and holistic wellness programs are witnessing growing global and domestic demand, particularly among patients seeking natural and complete healing experiences.
He further stated that integrative healthcare models, which combine traditional healing wisdom with contemporary medicine, are key to strengthening India’s position as a global leader in medical tourism and building an inclusive, world-class healthcare ecosystem.
