Tata Motors posts Q2 net loss of Rs 1021.00 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 1021.00 crore compared to net profit of Rs 643.00 crore in the previous year quarter.ÿ

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 9.32 per cent at Rs 16,804.00 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 15,371.00 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 6.54 per cent to Rs 14,784.00 crore from Rs 13,877.00 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 57.95 per cent at Rs 278.00 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 176.00 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 26.57 per cent to Rs 2,077.00 crore as against Rs 1,641.00 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 15.73 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 11.85 per cent y-o-y to Rs 186.00 crore, while Taxation decreased by 7.62 per cent at Rs 412.00 crore (Sep'24 Rs 446.00 crore).
