Axita Cotton Q2 net profit down 93.65% at Rs 0.04 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 0.04 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 0.63 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 93.65 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 51.29 per cent at Rs 63.27 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 129.89 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 51.24 per cent to Rs 62.83 crore from Rs 128.85 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 1150.00 per cent at Rs 0.25 crore versus (Sep'24 Rs 0.02 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 57.69 per cent to Rs 0.44 crore as against Rs 1.04 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 12.50 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 245.45 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.38 crore, while Taxation increased by 500.00 per cent at Rs 0.12 crore (Sep'24 Rs 0.02 crore).
