Waaree Energies Achieves Record 1 GW Solar Module Output in November

Waaree Energies announced on Wednesday that it has crossed a major manufacturing milestone by becoming the first solar panel producer in India to manufacture over 1 gigawatt (GW) of solar modules in a single month.

The company achieved the record output in November 2025, marking a notable achievement for India’s solar manufacturing landscape and strengthening the nation’s renewable energy ecosystem, according to an official statement.

“This is a historic moment for Waaree Energies and for India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem. Producing 1 GW of solar modules in a single month is a nation first,” said Sunil Rathi, Executive Director, Waaree Energies, in the statement.
