Excelsoft Technologi posts Q1 net profit of Rs 5.61 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 5.61 crore compared to net loss of Rs 4.40 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 1.98 per cent at Rs 55.76 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 54.68 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 7.86 per cent to Rs 45.96 crore from Rs 42.61 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 50.34 per cent at Rs 4.39 crore versus (Jun'24 Rs 2.92 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 18.81 per cent to Rs 9.80 crore as against Rs 12.07 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 20.39 per cent in June quarter.

Interest declined by 42.65 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.78 crore, while Taxation decreased by 83.92 per cent at Rs 1.77 crore (Jun'24 Rs 11.01 crore).
