NTPC Commissions 14 MW Solar Capacity at Khavda in Gujarat

NTPC Limited on Tuesday announced the commissioning of around 14 MW of solar power capacity at Khavda in Gujarat through a step-down subsidiary.

With this addition, NTPC said its total installed and commercial capacity at the group level has risen to 85,637 MW, according to an exchange filing.

The 13.98 MW solar capacity, commissioned with effect from 00:00 hours on December 30, 2025, forms part of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited’s 1,255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II Tranche-III in Gujarat, the company added.
