State-run power major NTPC on Thursday said its step-down arm NTPC Renewable Energy has commenced commercial supply of 300 MW of electricity from the 500 MW Bhadla Solar Project in Rajasthan, effective January 13.
With the commencement of this capacity, the total installed capacity of the NTPC group has increased to 87,287 MW, while its commercial capacity has risen to 86,207 MW, the company said in a regulatory filing.
NTPC informed stock exchanges about the declaration of the commercial operation date (COD) for the first tranche of 300 MW out of the total 500 MW Bhadla Solar PV Project in Rajasthan, marking a key milestone in the group’s renewable energy expansion.
