India Showcases Agri-Food Strength with 161 Exhibitors as Partner Country at Gulfood 2026

India will present its diverse and rapidly expanding agri-food ecosystem at Gulfood 2026 through 161 exhibitors, as the country participates as the Partner Country at one of the world’s largest food and beverage exhibitions. The participation is being led by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

India’s presence at Gulfood 2026 marks a significant scale-up, with the Indian Pavilion doubling in size from last year to cover 1,434 square metres. The pavilion will showcase a wide range of products, including processed foods, fresh and frozen produce, pulses, grains and cereals, beverages, value-added foods, and agri-export startups.

Exhibitors from 25 states and regions are participating, highlighting India’s agricultural diversity, GI-tagged products, organic produce and region-specific specialities. The pavilion brings together exporters, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), cooperatives, startups, state government bodies and national institutions, offering a comprehensive view of India’s export-ready agri-food ecosystem.

Key national institutions participating include NAFED, Spices Board India, Tea Board of India, National Turmeric Board, Indian Rice Exporters Federation, COMFED, and several state horticulture boards and cooperatives.

A major attraction is the BHARATI Pavilion, APEDA’s flagship initiative to promote agri-food and agri-tech startups. Located in the Startup Zone at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the pavilion features eight high-potential Indian startups selected through a national process.

The Indian Pavilion will also include a live culinary experience zone, with chef-led demonstrations showcasing India’s regional cuisines and ingredient versatility to enhance global buyer engagement.

India will have a strong presence across both Gulfood venues—Dubai Expo City and the Dubai World Trade Centre—with a focus on sustainability, innovation and future food systems. The participation aligns with opportunities arising from the India–UAE CEPA, aimed at strengthening agri and food exports to the Gulf region.

As Partner Country, India will also undertake extensive branding and promotional activities across Dubai, reinforcing its image as a reliable, sustainable and innovation-driven global agri-food supplier.
