Airtel offers free Adobe Express Premium to 360 million customers in global first

Bharti Airtel on Wednesday announced a landmark partnership with Adobe to offer free access to Adobe Express Premium to its 360 million customers across India, marking a global first for a telecom operator.

Under the partnership, Airtel customers—including mobile, Wi-Fi and DTH users—will get a one-year Adobe Express Premium subscription, valued at around ?4,000, at no additional cost. The subscription can be accessed via the Airtel Thanks App, with no credit card required.

Adobe Express is a quick and easy design app that enables users to create social media content, marketing materials, short videos, invitations and more, regardless of prior design experience.

Commenting on the collaboration, Siddharth Sharma, CEO – Connected Homes and Director – Marketing, Bharti Airtel, said the partnership aims to democratise access to cutting-edge AI tools and empower Indians to create professional-quality content—from students and small businesses to creators and entrepreneurs.

David Wadhwani, President, Digital Media at Adobe, said the partnership would help accelerate India’s growing creator economy by making world-class creative tools accessible to millions for free.

Adobe Express Premium offers access to thousands of professional templates, including designs tailored for Indian festivals, weddings and local businesses, along with AI-powered features such as background removal, text-to-image generation, one-tap video editing, premium Adobe Stock assets, over 30,000 fonts, 100GB cloud storage, auto captions, instant resize and watermark-free exports.

The app is available in English, Hindi, Tamil and Bengali, enabling users to create content in their preferred language.

The offering is expected to benefit creators, consumers, students, small businesses and marketers, helping them produce high-quality, on-brand content quickly and cost-effectively in an increasingly digital-first ecosystem.
